Rolf is keeping such a high profile these days it’s hard to imagine the amount of stamina that’s needed to fulfill such a busy schedule. An invite to do Glastonbury based on his success with his cover of Stairway to Heaven sees Rolf playing an encore to the 70000 strong crowd. Rolf is back at Glastonbury this year and opening on the Pyramid stage.

We met Rolf many years ago while we were on tour in Australia, at the airport in Melbourne, we sat and chatted on an airport bench until the early hours of the morning, you couldn’t have met a nicer and more polite man. For a man with three legs and a wobble board, nobody could envisage the success that Rolf is now enjoying throughout the world.

Buck yourself up…plan ahead!

Posted on June 11, 2010, by patricia, under Christmas 2010, laughter, rock with laughter show.

We’ve all had those days – the weather is nasty, and car is making these strange noises, and you have a dental appointment. Breakfast is a grab and run affair, and lunch is pretty much the same. Now every-one is heading home and the evening is filled with homework, cleaning, dishes, and that tension headache that has been coming on all day.

What can you do to get yourelf out of the doldrums?

You need to have something to look forward to.
So why not plan your Christmas now?
When the Holiday Season is really here and it has all the bright colors, ribbons, and bells that make it shiny, exciting and fun, wouldn’t it be nice to have a great night out planned to the finest detail?

Don’t leave it to the last minute!

Remember, as a child at Christmas, nothing could contain your enthusiasm, expectation, and fun. You woke up in a good mood, your day was filled with family, friends, and happiness, and at night you fell asleep with those Christmas elves dancing all around you. Ahem -

So take back the Holidays and bring joy to everyone – starting with your-self, plan ahead and book that fantastic night out. The thought of a night full of laughs and good music is sure to put an excited twinkle in your eye.

Make sure that the Christmas Spirit is alive and well – in you and your friends and family so that the glow of Christmas can shine through.

Laugh and The World Laughs With You!

Posted on June 8, 2010, by patricia, under laughter, rock with laughter show.

You know when you are having one of those days when nothing seems to go right. You’ve had a couple of phone calls about overdue bills, you burnt the lunch and to top it all, the kids are playing you up.
If you’re not careful, your kids will sense your mood and will end up in a mood themselves so how do you pull yourself out of it?
This happens to me a lot lately as I’ve just started a new business and am still not one hundred percent sure I have done the right thing!
You see, a lot of situations can’t be helped, they are out of our control and this is something we are not comfortable with.

But you can control your mood because you can control the funny side of life – in other words, the laughter.

I’m learning that when I choose to use laughter instead of anger, I actually feel happier, healthier even thinner,(I’m always on a diet).

I’ll tell you now, I’m not an expert at this laughter therapy, but I’m working on it.

They say that when you have a good laugh you release endorphins that make you feel elated, which, in turn, makes you feel less tense.
I know that I am definitely more lovable to my family after I’ve had a good laugh. I also think I’m providing a good example to them, laugh and the World laughs with you as they say.
